Moms of the Bible
Psst! Lean in, because I have a little secret for you: the moms of the Bible were a lot like you and me. Okay, so maybe you’re not blown away by that statement, but sometimes, I am. It’s been easy for me to put these moms on a pedestal and not get close enough to their stories to glean wisdom from them.
So I sat down and looked at their lives without the rose-colored glasses. What I found was humbling and inspiring, and directly applicable to my life as a busy mom.
Average Moms, Awesome God
Some of the moms in the Bible were bold and spirited, others were meek and devoted. Some Biblical moms had kids at a young age, others grew their family at a rather advanced age. But they all had something in common: their amazing, powerful, gracious God.
The thing that’s so incredible about Mary, Sarah, Rebekah, and Hannah, is their willingness to be used by God. Each one of these women were remarkable because they followed a remarkable God. They were beautiful, imperfect humans who have a lot to teach me about mom life.
I'm an average mom following an awesome God. #flawsome #momlife #momsofthebible #ebook Click To TweetTheir stories have helped me immensely to keep my eyes on God as I raise my kids. In Moms of the Bible (that’s the eBook!) I’m sharing my key take-aways from these flawsome moms, as well as a few stories from my own grace-filled mom life. I hope you’re inspired and encouraged by them!

It’s a question I often ask myself, “Am I willing to be used by God?” I love the lessons found in the Bible. #LiveLifeWell

Those are 4 awesome moms!
I agree! 🙂
Laura,
I look forward to getting your ebook. I am always amazed when I read the Bible and really look at the flawed lives of even the greatest leaders….they are not much different than we are. They messed up, made excuses, questioned God, failed to learn from their mistakes, etc. They were flawed humans that God used to do great things. Sounds like moms, right?
Will look forward to reading.
Blessings,
Bev xx
Yep, sounds exactly right! Thanks, Bev!
Thanks so much, Michele! Even this short eBook was lots of work, but well worth it. 😊
I admire your grit in pulling together your research into an ebook!
Congratulations!
