Does Andrea nail it when she comes up with these ideas, or what? (Yes, yes, she does.) Today I’m joining a bunch of other bloggers in discussing the uncensored contents of our purses.

I’m a little sad to report that my purse isn’t as messy as usual. I got a new one last month and put some thought into what I wanted to stock it with…yep, this bag is a lot larger than what I was using, because for the most part, I was relying on my diaper bag. NO MORE!

So here it is, in all its glory.

What’s Inside My Purse

Better Homes and Gardens Magazine

One of my favorite things about this purse is that it can hold random reading material. BHG is the only magazine I get at the moment, but it’s really all I need.

My Planner

I throw my planner in my purse when I’m going to appointments, social events, church, or going away for more than a couple of hours. If I’m just taking a trip to the grocery store, though, it stays at home. When I was purse shopping I brought my planner along just to be absolutely certain I could bring it with me easily.

A Notebook

Because I love to write things down. This one was a gift from Shani of Sunshine and Munchkins. I wrote about the mail exchange I did with her yesterday. She’s the sweetest!

A Coupon Organizer

I do not use this the way I should.

Emergency Makeup

I have what I need in case of some sort of makeup emergency. You never know when the worst can strike.

Last year I subscribed to Ipsy, and I absolutely loved it. But I decided to take a year off so I could use all that lovely makeup I got.

Lip Glosses

You’ll notice these are not part of my little makeup kit, because they aren’t “just in case”. They are necessary. I have needy lips.

Health/Hygiene Kit

This one has…

  • a hair ribbon for me, and a headband wrap for Sylvie
  • deodorant
  • hand sanitizer
  • baby/kids’ nail clippers
  • tic tacs
  • Kleenex
  • cough drops
  • Extra strength Tylenol
  • Bandaids
  • antibiotic cream
  • an essential oil inhaler, which I filled with hormonally-friendly oils 😀

My Wallet

Well, obviously, I have to have that! Note to self: don’t ever separate your wallet from your purse, or you’ll end up at the grocery store with a full cart and no way to pay. This is, of course, a hypothetical reminder.

Random Things

A Special K Red Berries snack bar that’s very, very smushed.

An old receipt.

Yep, it really holds all of that.

I can’t wait to see what’s in your purse too!
